Your Questions, Answered ~

  • While the official wedding ceremony start time is 3PM, we recommend arriving 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so you can get settled before the proceedings. 

  • Cocktail attire. While this is one of the more formal wedding dress codes, it also allows you to play around with bright colors, statement accessories, and bold embellishments. For dresses, cocktail-length is a must—that means a knee-length hemline or something longer that hits above the ankles. If you don't want to wear a dress, a tailored jumpsuit is a chic alternative. Men should wear suits, preferably in a neutral color or simple pattern, paired with a traditional white shirt. High heels or dress shoes will complete your look. Finally, it's time to add accessories, which is where the cocktail attire theme can really shine. Bedazzled clutches, patterned ties/colorful bow ties, and eye-catching jewelry will give your ensemble a final bit of pizzazz and personality.    

  • Our wedding will be both indoor and outdoor!

    May weather in Petaluma is typically quite warm. We plan to have our ceremony and dinner outside (followed by sunset activities.) Cocktail hour will be inside. Dancing will begin outside and transition inside, proceeding to dessert time.

  • May is generally sunny and comfortable, with temperatures often in the 70s°F, while evenings can be brisk. It is a drier month, with very low chances of rain. 

  • Yes - plenty! Make sure to follow the signs and take rideshares as appropriate.

  • Due to constraints, we may be unable to accommodate more than a certain number of children of a certain age at our wedding. We are restricting it to bridal party and immediate family only. Please contact us if you need us to make an exception (contact info below.)

  • There will be a charcuterie board/grazing table followed by unique Mediterranean-fusion pizza for the main course. Fruit infused water as well as alcoholic drinks will be served such as beer/wine and champagne, as well as a signature mocktail. Cupcakes, ice cream, and shortbread cookies will be provided for dessert. Vegan options available for all of the above.

  • Reception end time is 10PM. We don’t have an after-party planned, but are open to extending most preferably in downtown Petaluma, anywhere with live music. 🎉
